Bye, everybody! We'll definitely do this again.

Good night Ann/elizabeth--thanks for coming!
From:Kiah (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:10 PM
Kashauna, well I started college in my junior year of high school. There's this program called Running Start in Washington state. I'm already 2 years into my degree and I graduated from high school earlier this year. I haven't decided what to major in yet. I'm thinking about Biology. I'm not going to try chemistry considering I'm afraid of blowing up the lab.
From:Marty (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:10 PM
I want to thank Jayne, Stella and Ann, too. THIS WAS GREAT!!!

Bye all, it's been LOL!
From:linda hurst (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:09 PM
The funny thing Jayne is it is a book I have reread--the guy kinda grew on me I guess. Perhaps because he is so emotionally needy. I think my favorite is Max in Grand Hotel but then I like Sam and ....actually I like most of your heroes a lot. Your heroines are strong women that match the heroes beautifully. I have always thought a strong man needs a strong woman.

From:Danyelle (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:08 PM
Here's a rather bizarre question: Do you ever just get tired of books? I work w/ computers & software & sometimes, I think I never want to see another one, but then . . . My favorite authors start posting on BBs & Chat rooms!
From:Marty (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:08 PM
I'm reading Sheer Pleasures now for the first time. Can't wait to finish it!!
From:Angela (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:08 PM

From:daisy (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:07 PM
Kash - That's also why I don't read Lindsay ;)
If you really like SF, Try Susan Krinard...She lives up here and is a nice lady! She's been having trouble with her publisher about her Supernaturals, She has 2 about Werewolves ;))
From:Renee (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:07 PM
Ladies, almost forgot, this stuff is addictive. If I send bookplates can you autograph them for me?
From:Jayne (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:07 PM

This is my very first time in a chat room so please be patient with me. It took JAK to get me in here. I am a new fan. About a year and a half. I started with Quick then Castle and I now own ALOT of JAK as well. I am new to OKC and have discovered that it is full of book stores. New and used. I feel very fortunate. My husband persuaded me that I could find interesting things on the internet so here I am. Communicating with a favorite author. It is actually quite intimidating. I wondered if any of the manuscripts that were refused during your first years writing have been revamped and published since or if you put them on a shelf?

Every time I chew bubble gum - I think of Nasty.
From:Debbie (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:01 PM
Jayne - a big joke on myself is that I collected Jayne Castle and Stephanie James, set them side-by-side on my keeper shelf, remarked on the similarities, and had quite a collection before I knew they were written by the same author. It was a wonderful revelation. I have enjoyed all your books (I have all but four) once, twice, thrice, etc. I'm a real re-reader.
From:Nanette (New Msg) at 8/10/98 6:01 PM

DeeZee: Personally, I try to avoid reviews as much as possible. Sometimes you can't escape. But I always keep in mind that it is just one person's opinion. I never use reviews to buy other people's books.
From:ann/elizabeth (New Msg) at 8/10/98 5:45 PM
It was science fiction, not romance. Different world, different rules. (I had never written a romance when I wrote sf.) And the third book in the Dancer series wasn't supposed to be the last. It just happened that way.

The prisms were so cool. My best friend and I were in a race to see who could find them and read them all first. I won.

Hi, everyone. I just want to say that I LOVE all the books you three write and I try to buy them as soon as they come out. Please, keep them coming!

Cissy: Sharp Edges is due to lay down (the industry term for hitting the stores) this week.

Jayne, my favorite scene in Mystique is the campfire where the lady defends Hugh's honor & is made fun of by the baird!

Laura, Valley is one of my very favorites, too. It will be "redone" in the next few years, after Summer Games.

Another thing, Ann, I was sorry to read that you won't be doing any more paranormals (at least for awhile). The trilogy was fantastic.

Ann, I may be in a minority *g* but my favorite book written by you is Valley of the Sun. I was wondering, since just about every other SIM you have written has been reprinted and/or expanded, if Valley was going to get a new life?
From:Renee (New Msg) at 8/10/98 5:11 PM
Can anyone tell me if they're getting all this? I'm not sure I'm doing it right. Maybe if I ask a question, I'll know. Thanks
