I have been a HUGH fan. The first book I read, Surrender by Amanda Quick, I was intrigued. When I found other books by Jayne Ann Krentz, I was thrilled. I loved the storylines as well as the dialogue between the couples. It wasn't long after that that I began buying every copy I could find with Jayne Ann Krentz, A. Quick or J. Castles' name on it. Whether it had been written by her or recommended by her. Jayne I love your work. Please don't ever stop. Peace and take care.

Jayne Please go back to your old style and characters. I used to eagerly await for your books and would re-read them many times. Now, the books just have no romance and the characters seem secondary to the story line and as such are not well developed. I love your books!! I read and reread them. I really enjoy your sci-fi. I was thrilled to discover that you're doing another "curtain" story. I recently reread Amanda Quick's Seduction. I'd love to read Anne Silverthorne's and Gideon Daregate's story. Or Miles Thurgood, or Jane Morland. My favorite element in your books is the mystery. The way you weave the mystery plot with the growth of the main characters is why you're my favorite author and a credit to the Romance Genre!

Hello Jayne, Just a note to say that enjoy most of your novels and most particularly the sci-fi romances. I always look for references to Chrome yellow, owlish look, and high, pert breasts and feel disappointed if I can't find them. I like the sci-fi romances best because when I read them I feel you are happiest writing them. It feels like your 'true' stride has been hit. Good luck in the future.

Dear Ms. Krentz: I was on vacation in 1991 and had run out of reading material. The local variety store had copies of Surrender in their rack. It looked intriguing so I picked it up and boy I couldn't put it down. I went right back to that store and bought a copy of Scandal. It was the same exact thing. I love reading, but your books transported me to beautiful settings/ great love scenes and mystery and intrigue. I have read every book up to With this Ring. I cannot wait to pick that one up or when I thee Wed comes out in paperback. Unfortunately, as I said, I love to read and I have to finish a few other books first. I will get to it soon though. Again, thank you for the way you vividly describe every last detail so that I can imagine the whole book in my head if I close my eyes and dream. Thanks for the dreams!! Hi! I am 19 years old and just finished my first year of college. I've read more this year than I think I ever have; however, at the beginning of the year all I read was Chemistry, Biology, Geology, and things like that. I honestly thought I was going to go insane under the pressure! But then, a friend of mine told me I should lighten up and try reading something fun. I found her books were somewhat differant than the other romance novels. They have some genuine qualities,I think. Someone said reading one book of her make you know what the others of her would be. Then what about the other movies and a bit silly soap dramas? Do we expect to find the same effect of reading "anna karenina"when we read the books of her? Certainly not. The aspect of values(?) are total differatnt I like her books. and I'm glad about finding and having the pleasure of reading them. small pleasures.

About 5 yrs ago I accidently picked up one of your books. (Amanda Quick 'Deception' I think) I wasnt to happy when I found out I picked up a ROMANCE since I had never read one before I thought they would be real boring. You are an amazing writer!! I absolutely, positively love your books. I didn't even make the connection with Amanda Quick and Jayne Ann Krentz until a little bit later. But the first book I ever read from you was an Amanda Quick book, "Dangerous." Your books are an inspiration to all the females in this world because you don't make them as weaklings where the man has to come and "save the day." Once I discovered Jayne Ann Krentz I went back and Interlibrary Loaned all of her books I could get. I really enjoy reading her books. They are not just books full of sexual encounters, which so many of the romance books are now. They are much more intriguing stories with romance thrown in. I enjoy this type of book much more than I do the other kind.

I really do enjoy your books. I began reading the Amanda Quick titles, being rather hooked on historical romance. I have reread them many times and never tire of them. My husband cannot understand how I can reread them so many times. I tell him it's like the way he always enjoys a John Wayne movie. It was an analogy he could relate to. All of your books have always had sequences of three, however the "A" titles only had one. Will you be doing the other two or is "Affair" it? I finished I Thee Wed last night. I like the story line and the way you work, connect, mention the other characters from your previously work. The only other author I have read who does this is Catherine Coulter. I think stories which occur in the same time frame that these character would either know each other or know of each other since the ton was not so vast. I am looking forward to Eye of the Beholder.

Any ideas as to why the Quick one word, three strating with the same letter standard has been changed? "With this ring", and "I thee wed". I mean, I get the significance and can only hope that we will find out that there is something in the story that BEGS for that particular reference, but I had come to depend on the Quick formula, right down to the way the books are titled. I find the characters funny and refreshing, they are usually people I would love to meet (excepting the villians, of course). A friend and I have pondered the title change, to the point we actually looked up "A" words in the dictionary for titles to go with "Affair"! If anyone has any idea why this change occured I would love some info via e-mail. Thanks!

I feel like Jayne Ann Krentz is wonderful. She helps me escape the stress of my day when I get lost in one of her books. I'm a special education teacher, so I need that escape quite often. I sit on pins & needles waiting for the next book because I always seem to finish them the first night I get them.

I have been reading your books for several years now and have never been disappointed, except when the story ends. The books never go back to be traded in for others and I reread them often. Just want to say that Jayne K is at the top of my list of writers, especially romance writers, but any writer. I wish she would write some more on the appeal of romance novels, edit another book with the thoughts of other writers.

I love JAK's books. I buy each as soon as they come out. She doesn't write fast enough for me. Of course, she would have to publish a new book each week to keep me happy. My best friend and I often talk about her books and characters as if they were real. Since,Priscilla now lives in the Chicago area and we talk long distance this is sometimes costly. I had steered clear of "Romance" books until I was given one of yours to read. I believe I have now read all of them, and eagerly sign up in advance for your hardcovers. I am glad to say that the books by Amanda Quick are always well written and ranked very low on the scale. ( A good thing!) Please continue writing. It gives me some nice books to read when I'm taking a break from heavy, college reading. PS: I love the names of the characters. They fit their personalities perfectly and are always creative.
