The Waiting Game

I recently discovered JAK and am having a wonderful time reading as many titles as I can get my hands on. I just read The Pirate" and there is a mention in the advertisements of a movie version of "The Waiting Game". Was it ever made? How can I get to see it? TV? Rentals? Any ideas?
