Guinivere Jones novels and the used book trade

I was browsing amazon.com and discovered the Guinivere Jones novels, which as far as I know were only released in paperback, are being sold for as much as $75.00 apiece depending on the novel. While I enjoy your writing, Jayne/Amanda, I am curious why this particular series is worth so much. I would ask the stores offering them but am afraid of being pestered to purchase. I never got rid of any of my books by you and am wondering if I should think about storing these books some other way than crammed in the bookshelf if they are this valuable. Thanks
