Guinevere Jones Series - Book 2
This time it is Guinevere who draws Zach into a mystery. While snooping in an executive bathroom Guinevere finds a gun. She talks her boss into hiring Zach as a bodyguard. However, Zach's image of becoming a high class security consultant does not include bodyguard duties.
Zach changes his mind about the assignment when he learns that it will allow him and
Guinevere to travel together to the San Juan Islands. Unfortunately his new client's paranoia keeps Zach by his side instead of Guinevere's. As the mystery plays itself out, Guinevere's confusion about her relationship with Zach, and Zach's
determination to have a relationship with her almost gets Guinevere,
Zach and his client killed.
This story is just as good as the first, The Desperate Game. As in all
Jayne Castle's novels you become part of the story; you are involved.
You can not wait to see what happens next. There is what I can only
describe as a deepness to all of Jayne Castles stories. All of the
Guinevere Jones novels are worth searching for.
