This is a wonderful story of love in the world of magic. Ariana Warfield, is a beautiful woman who knows and understands money. As the financial planner for her relatives, Ariana knows something isn't right when her aunt starts giving large sums of money to a man. Knowing her aunt is being swindled and wanting to prove it, she needs the help of a magician to expose the faker. Lucian Hawk, a dark and devastatingly handsome man, is a magician willing to do the job for her. Their attraction to each other is there from the beginning, but each have secrets from their past that they keep. They have a plan to expose the faker to her aunt, but we also find that Lucian has another plan, to get Ariana into his bed. But once he gets her there can he keep her when she finds out he lied to her? Being lied to by a man before has her wary anyway but this could devastate her and put an end to their love affair even before it begins.
